Research & Development
In order to respond to the expectations of our clients, the R&D department at STOLZ optimises and develops its range of machines in the fields of animal and human nutrition.
Internal and external ergonomics are applied to our machines in order to avoid cross contamination and retention products.
Our lines of research are directed towards :
- an improved more simple and hygienic design ;
- computerisation and automation in order to reduce the amount of mechanisms and optimise the amount of power to be installed.
Experienced personnel
Approximately 50 men and women spread across 5 sites in France :
- of which 80% have attained at least the level of qualified technician
- of which 30% are engineers
- of which over 10% work in research and development

- AUTOCAD for classic design
- SOLIDWORKS and AUTOPLANT for 3D design and conception
- CASTOR B.E. from CETIM and DESIGN SPACE (ANSYS) for finite element analysis
- RCAD ACIER from ROBOBAT for design and conception of steel structure
- WINVENTD for explosion vents
- Specific calculation software developed by our engineers
