Handling

Animal feed

As France is the European leading producer of compound feeds, it has to be at the forefront of tachnology. Numerous regulatory constraints have helped complete our know-how and knowledge of food processing. Drum Sifter

These machines allow initial cleaning of large quantities of pulverulent, cereal, etc products at the bulk reception point before storage. This allows both very small particles (sand in cereals) end unwanted large foreign bodies to be eliminated. These machines are made entirely of metal, and are composed of rectangular bolted frames. The machines also benefit from coninuous smooth functioning.

2 models are available with an output of up to 500 Tonnes per hour per machine :

• Large volume DRUM SIFTER without extracting facility, SEMC model
  
  High calibre treatment of waste is effected by the passage of the desired product from the interior of the drum through the gaps in the mesh of the rotating cylinder. The large calibre products remain inside and are eliminated by an opening at the side of the drum. Fixed or flexible gaps in the mesh weave. Interchangeable and easy to dismount covers. The machine functions without giving off dust by extraction thus reducing atmospheric pressure.

• DRUM SIFTER with CLEANING SYSTEM, SEMB model :
  
  High calibre treatment of waste is effected by the passage of the desired product from the exterior to the interior of the drum through the gaps in the mesh of the rotating cylinder. The mesh of the rotating cylinder is equipped with a variable baffle and a rotating cleaning brush with a diameter of 150 mm, with a waste transfer screw and a check valve at the outlet. Variable incline supply flap with product by-pass option.
  The inlet includes a distributor with initial extraction in the upper section ensuring maximums efficiency. Size of gaps in the mesh according to the application.
  We recommend that you provide us with a product sample for testing or (our ?) product specifications. This machine is equipped with an extraction channel to ensure a strong air current. The current of air transfers the waste particles to the expansion chamber. They are then evacuated by a screw equipped with a sealable flap.

Fat coater

Thermal treatment

RCCS-TF dryer cooler

The RCCS-TF cooler has been especially designed for cooleing heat treated meals. It is also suitable for pellets cooling

The resident time is accurately monitored with full emptying of the chamber.

The top floor is used for drying, including an heater air inlet. Others 2 floors are cooling stages and connected to a hygienic treated inlet air from outside.

The meal stay onto each floor for an adjusted resident time according the throughput rate of the process. It is moved through special rotating arms and fluidised through raising up air flows.

Turbo sifter

Cleaner

In the production areas such as Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroun, STOLZ has successfully installed machinery especially designed for pre-cleaning and cleaning units.

Our latest examples of cocoa bean factories are provided with STOLZ cleaners of type SNST 550, 1150, 2150, 3150, and 4150. A complete range that allow to our customers, like CEMOI Cantalou, BARRY CALLEBAUT, CARGILL, or ADM, to use that very efficient machines in origin countries or in european factories for purification or grading of products.




Destoner

STOLZ develop since dozens of years destoners with an always increased efficiency that allow to preserve life of downstream machines, and to make better final products.

Handling of coffee beans, like most of the other food products, requires a special attention and design of machines must be suitable to to original qualities of a product.

Situated in Laverune (34), the KRAFT FOODS factory takes delivery of 40,000 tonnes of green coffee (raw) per year and produces roasted coffee, granulated coffee and ground coffee (Carte Noire, Nectar Regal) in packs of 250 g.

As well as the STOLZ machinery which receives, handles and filters at the point of production, 8 destoners lines are operational. The picking belts are found after the coffee has passed through the roaster and before aither the grinding or the packaging of the beans. The destoners are of a simple mechanical design which allowws easy maintenance and pre-cleaning without having to dismantle the machine.

Thermal Cooler

The thermal conditioner is design to heat treat any raw cereal to avoid contamination by flora, yeast, mould, coliforms, etc... and so to able to propose product that answer to the demands of the market.

The Grands Moulins d’Ozon, based in Chatellerault (86) have a flour production capacity of 200 tonnes per day following Certification ISO 9001, version 2000. A special warehousing facility offers the opportunity to mix different types of flour ; this gives access to the different markets; flour for traditional bread, pizza dough, biscuits and biscottes (crispy bread).

The thermal system developped by STOLZ allows the wheat used in the baking industry to be treated without destroying its vital characteristics. The treatment is applied to the outside of the grain, which in turn protects the kernel, thus the flour.

Industrial dust extraction

The job of the Industrial Dust Extraction department at STOLZ is to fight against air pollution caused by the emission of polluting dusts. The competence of this department is founded on years of experience.

Solutions put into place by STOLZ’s Industrial Dust Extraction department for dust capture in machines, handling systems, workshops and ovens are determined by in-depth knowledge of physical, chemical and mechanical factors of these pollutants.

Of all these know pollutants, STOLZ Industrial Dust Extraction provides a wide range of systems to respond to industrial requirements.
